Promoting the high-quality development of manufacturing is a core part of China's high-quality economic development and an important foundation for accelerating socialist modernization.According to research,high-income economies value the high-quality development of manufacturing at the middle-income stage to spur stable growth and high-quality development of the economy,making a significant contribution to smoothly entering the high-income range.Drawing lessons from their experience,at the new stage of development,China should pursue medium-and long-term strategies and industrial policies that promote high-quality development of manufacturing and thus drive high-speed growth and high-quality development of the economy,in which way China can accelerate its entry into the ranks of high-income economies as well as socialist modernization.
