复合隐喻的界定、类别与功能——兼谈中国官方扶贫文本的复合隐喻

Definition,Classification and Functions of Compound Metaphor——With a Discussion on the Compound Metaphorical Construction of China's Official Poverty Alleviation Texts

基于概念隐喻理论和概念整合理论,本文对复合隐喻的界定、类别和功能作出阐释,认为复合隐喻是基于不同视点的语篇空间内多重概念域的映射复合而成的层创结构,包括辐射式、平行式、递进式和嵌入式4种复合类型,复合隐喻与语篇话题/主题及语言使用者乃至言语社区的思维图式密切相关。以《摆脱贫困》和《在全国脱贫攻坚总结表彰大会上的讲话》的英文本为语料,通过分析其复合隐喻模式,本文发现在不同时空语境下中国官方建构扶贫议题的认知心理图式差异,并揭示其历时演进的内在动因。

Based on the conceptual metaphor theory and the conceptual blending theory,this article interprets the definition,classification and functions of compound metaphor.It holds that compound metaphor is an emergent structure formed by the mapping relationships between different conceptual domains within certain textual space under different viewpoints,and includes four types:radial type,parallel type,progressive type and embedded type.Compound metaphor is closely related with textual topic,theme,and the mental schema of language users and even speech community.An analysis of the compound metaphorical model in the two English versions of texts-the anti-poverty article taken from the work Up and Out of Poverty,and the Speech at a National Conference to Review the Fight against Poverty and Commend Individuals and Groups Involved,will discover the differences of mental schema of China's authority in constructing the anti-poverty issue under different spatio-temporal contexts,and unearth the relevant motivations of its evolution tendency.
