语言变异视角下网络流行语“XX子”的使用状况与传播机制

Use and Dissemination Mechanism of Network Catchwords“XX子(XX Zi)”:A Perspective of Language Variation

分析网络空间及地域方言中“XX子”结构的现实语料,对其产生、流行及衍生的情况进行归纳、总结与评价。结果发现,使用方法上,“XX子”大致具有三种类型:一是作体词性成分用来指称,可诙谐地表达使用者内心色彩;二是作谓词性成分陈述某人或事物,具有描写与评价的作用;三是作独立语或居句末表示某种语气的附加,对结构整体意义并无影响。在语用形式上,“XX子”可被视作语法结构同习惯性用语构成方式交叉混合的产物,属于形式框填型流行语的一种。在语用功能上,“XX子”类似于一种“焦点化”用法,体现了语言变异的标记与交际功能。在传播机制上,“XX子”可归属为一种变动型强势语言模因,是使用者主观评价及情感表达的共同诉求。

From the perspective of linguistic factors and non-linguistic factors as well as the form and function,the author analyzes the realistic corpus of“XX子(XX Zi)”structure in cyberspace and regional dialects,and summarizes and evaluates its emergence,popularity and derivation.The results show that there are three types of“XX子(XX Zi)”in use:first,it is used as a?substantive?component to refer to somebody or something,which can humorously express the inner color of the user;Second,it is used as a predicate component to state someone or something,which has the function of description and evaluation;Third,it can be used as an independent language or at the end of the sentence to indicate the addition of a certain tone,which has no effect on the overall meaning of the structure.In terms of pragmatic form,“XX子(XX Zi)”can be regarded as a product of the cross-mixing of grammatical structure and idiomatic phrase formation,which belongs to the form-framed catchword.In terms of pragmatic function,“XX子(XX Zi)”is similar to a“focus”usage,reflecting the marking and communicative functions of language variation.In terms of communication mechanism,“XX子(XX Zi)”can be classified as a kind of changing strong language meme,which is the common appeal of users’subjective evaluation and emotional expression.
