This paper briefly expounds the basic principles of modern building decoration design,introduces the key technical construction points in building decoration,starts from two aspects:contemporary decoration and digital technology,contemporary decoration and culture,further discusses the effective application of contemporary decoration in buildings,re-examines the value and significance of decoration in construction of building engineering.The research of this paper is expected to provide reference for relevant personnel and promote the better development of China’s building decoration industry.
