摘要
数字人文作为一种研究方法,一直致力于利用数字工具对大型语料库进行定量分析。相比于其他领域,数字人文与艺术史研究的结合相对较晚。目前,数字数据、可视化技术和计算机算法等数字技术实现了艺术史的数字显示、视觉运行与自动关联等,可以在数据集中自动建立链接,建构艺术作品之间的新关系,使艺术史研究摆脱时空限制,拓展研究范畴,构成动态的艺术史研究过程。该交叉学科属性使其成为“新文科”建设的实践典范。与此同时,数字艺术史研究也需要摒弃“唯数据论”“唯技术论”,拒绝简单化、扁平化,回归艺术史研究的本质。
As a research method, Digital Humanities use digital tools to conduct quantitative analysis of data in various large corpora. Compared with the digital development in other fields, the combination of digital humanities and art history research emerges relatively late. At present, digital technologies such as digital data, visualization technology and computer algorithm have facilitated the art history to achieve digital display, visual operation and automatic correlation. Through autonomously seeking links in the data set, studies over art history can construct new relationships between works of art, thus overriding the constraints of time and space, and forming a dynamic process of art history research. At the same time, in doing digital art history research, we should not blindly attach importance to data and technology, but should persist in the nature of art history research.
