摘要
孟子以心性情才论性善,心性情才具有双重内涵:一是仁义礼智之端,“端”是本,说明人皆有成就道德的可靠根基;二是仁义礼智之德,是由仁义礼智之端扩充存养形成的,说明君子的仁义礼智之德是后天存养的结果。心性情才的双重内涵表现为双重特性,前者表现为先天生而即有的、稳定而普遍的,后者表现为后天存养的、可变而相对的。心性情才具有双重内涵和特性说明孟子性善包含两方面内容:一是性善立本,这是从心性情才的仁义礼智之端一面所言的性善,二是性善存养,这是从心性情才的仁义礼智之德一面所言的性善。
Mencius discusses Xingshan with Xin Xing Qing Cai.Xin Xing Qing Cai has dual connotations:one is the Duan of Ren Yi Li Zhi which everyone is born with a foundation for achieving moral;the other is the De of Ren Yi Li Zhi which is formed by the former,this means that,be formed by moral cultivation.The dual connotation of Xin Xing Qing Cai manifests itself in different characteristics which the former is congenital,stable and universal and the latter is acquired,variable and relative.The dual connotation of Xin Xing Qing Cai shows that Mencius'Xingshan also has two aspects:Xingshan Liben and Xingshan Cunyang.
