Professor LIU Shang-yi,a TCM master,has characteristics in treating recurrent spontaneous abortion.This paper summarizes professor LIU Shang-yi’s TCM experience treating recurrent spontaneous abortion.His academic experience is as follows:Firstly,paying attention to disease prevention,emphasizing that patients should start the treatment for recurrent spontaneous abortion before conception.Secondly,the cause of the disease is kidney deficiency and liver depression,and through nourishing the kidney and unchoking the liver,regulating yin and yang to treat it.Thirdly,paying attention to the characteristics of women’s menstrual cycle and the‘membrane disease theory’to treat the disease and achieve good clinical efficacy.This academic experience provides new treatment ideas for the disease.
