生态翻译学视域下时政汉英翻译探索——以《习近平谈治国理政》(第三卷)为例

Research on the English Translation of Chinese Political Genre from the Prospective of Eco-translatology——A Case of Xi Jinping:The Governance of China(Ⅲ)

对于时政类文体的汉英翻译,生态翻译学理论符合我国译者思维的新生态研究范式。生态翻译学理论研究范式的逻辑定位于三大核心理念——“文本移植”“适应选择”和“生态平衡”;三大核心理念在翻译过程中呈现关联互动的思维态势。在时政类文体汉英翻译现象中,存在生态翻译学理论中核心理念的交叉融合,其中“文本移植”在于语义和语用多方兼顾,“适应选择”力求最高度的翻译“生态效率”,“生态平衡”趋向于表达和谐性。《习近平谈治国理政》(第三卷)的英译本,以生态翻译学理论的核心理念为前提和依据,以“生态平衡”为出发点和归宿,不断适应地进行“文本移植”,以“适应选择”为枢纽,切实把握了时政文体汉英翻译的翻译新“生态”。

For Chinese-English translation of the political genre,Eco-translatology embraces the new ecological research paradigm of Chinese translators’logic.The essence of the research paradigm of Eco-translatology lies in the three core concepts:“textual transplantation”“adaptation and selection”and“eco-balance”.The three core concepts present the logical trend of correlation and interaction in the process of translation.In the Chinese-English translation of political genre,there is a crossintegration of the core concepts of Eco-translatology,among which“textual transplantation”interacts with the consideration of semantic and pragmatic aspects;“adaptation and selection”strives for the highest“ecological efficiency”of translation;and“eco-balance”tends to express harmony of the translation.There is also the ecotranslatological operation in the English version of Xi Jinping:The Governance of China(Ⅲ).With the core concepts of Eco-translatology as the premise and basis,“eco-balance”as the original and final target,constantly adapting to the“textual adaptation”,with“adaptation and selection”as the hub,the new“ecology”of Chinese-English translation of the political genre can be satisfied.
