摘要
高效的热管理系统能极大提高发光二极管(LED)的使用寿命和发光性能。针对大功率LED散热问题,设计了基于热电制冷/液态金属的热管理系统。采用液态金属以提升热电制冷的散热性能,通过改变液态金属进口温度和流速、热电制冷功率、环境温度,对不同工况下的热管理系统性能进行了实验研究。结果表明,基于热电制冷/液态金属的热管理系统能显著降低LED基板温度及系统热阻,其冷却性能优于以水为冷却工质的热管理系统。
An efficient thermal management system can greatly improve the life and luminescence performance of light-emitting diodes(LEDs).A thermal management system based on thermoelectric cooler and liquid metal was designed to solve the heat dissipation problem of high-power LED.Liquid metal was used to improve heat dissipation performance of the thermoelectric cooler.By changing the inlet temperature and velocity of liquid metal,the power of thermoelectric cooler and the ambient temperature,the performance of the thermal management system under different working conditions was experimentally studied.The experimental results show that the thermal management system based on thermoelectric cooler/liquid metal can significantly reduce the LED substrate temperature and the thermal resistance of the system.Its cooling performance was better than that of the thermal management system based on water cooling medium.
