摘要
Asian Herpetological Research(AHR)is a quarterly English language journal started in 2010.Historically,AHR was preceded by the Chinese language journal,Acta Herpetologica Sinica which Chengdu Institute of Biology(CIB),Chinese Academy of Sciences began publishing in China in 1977 and ceased publishing in 1989.In 1990,the journal was restarted and renamed as Chinese Herpetological Research,and from 1991 to 2008 it was again renamed Asiatic Herpetological Research.From 1990 to 2008,the journal was jointly published by AHRS,CSSAR and CIB in English at the Museum of Vertebrate Zoology,University of California,USA.
