The importance of redundant material control in the engine remanufacturing process is proposed,the redundant material situation in the engine remanufacturing process of a certain model is analyzed,and the measures taken in terms of human,machine,material,method,environment and measurement for the prevention and control of redundant material are discussed with the characteristics of engine maintenance production line.The quality and reliability of remanufactured engines are improved by strengthening the control of redundancy in the remanufacturing process.
