时代新人是新时代社会主义建设者和接班人,培养时代新人事关党和人民事业发展后继有人这个根本大计。学术期刊是社会主义文化建设的组成部分,围绕举旗帜、聚民心、育新人、兴文化、展形象建设社会主义文化强国,是其重要职责。高校青年学生是时代新人的主力军,高校期刊具有立德树人的天然属性,应充分发挥其优势,始终坚持正确的政治方向引领“新人”,以风清气正的出版业态鼓舞“新人”,严格选、编、审、校、刊、发全过程锻炼“新人”,打造实践交流平台服务“新人”。

The new generation is the socialist builders and successors of the new era.Fostering a new generation concerns that the cause of the Party and the people is carried forward by future generations.Academic journals are an integral part of socialist cultural construction,so that it is their mission to contribute to the CPC’s focus on upholding socialism with Chinese characteristics,rallying public support,fostering a new generation of young people,developing Chinese culture,and better presenting China to the world.The young students in colleges and universities cover a majority of the new generation in the new era.Therefore,moral cultivation is obligatory for university journals.They are expected to give full play to their advantages,adhering to guide the new generation with correct political views,inspire the new generation with the justice and upright publishing environment,temper the new generation through strict selecting,editing,reviewing,proofreading,and publishing and serve the new generation with a communication platform.
