With the acceleration of economic globalization and urbanization progress,the straw knitting industry in Laizhou faces challenges and opportunities.This paper studies the historical origin,product change,production technology and industrial policy of the straw knitting industry in Laizhou,and makes Laizhou straw knitting handicraft production,which fl ourished in late Qing Dynasty,continue to make an important contribution to economic development of China.
