中外学生同堂教学法在病理生理学双语教学中的应用研究 被引量:2

摘要 目的探索合理应用中外学生同堂教学,建立适合病理生理学双语教学的新方法。方法2019年9—12月,以滨州医学院2017级临床医学专业本科生70名及2017级临床医学专业留学生22名、2016级临床医学专业留学生19名为研究对象。研究分为本科生组、本科+留学生合堂组(以下简称合堂组)、留学生组共3组。本科生组采用传统的双语教学法+以问题为导向的教学法(problem-based learning,PBL)+实验操作;合堂组采用双语教学+中外学生共同参与的PBL教学法+中外学生共同参与的实验操作;留学生组的理论课和实验课均为传统的全英文授课。从病理生理学期末考试成绩、英语四六级的通过人数和硕士研究生录取人数做统计学分析。结果合堂组本科生结课当年的病理生理学理论和实验操作考试成绩、追踪到毕业的英语四六级的通过人数及毕业当年的硕士研究生录取人数均高于本科生组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。合堂组留学生结课当年的病理生理学理论和实验操作考试成绩,也均明显高于留学生组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论中外学生同堂教学法不仅能够提高病理生理学的教学效果,而且能够提高本科生英语运用能力,增强中外学生团队协作能力,为其走向临床、面向国际化打下坚实的基础。 Objective To explore the rational application of Chinese and international students teaching together,and establish a new method suitable for bilingual teaching in pathophysiology.Methods From September to December 2019,a total of 70 undergraduate students majoring in clinical medicine at Binzhou Medical College in 2017,22 international students majoring in clinical medicine in 2017,and 19 international students majoring in clinical medicine in 2016 were selected as the research subjects and divided into three groups:undergraduate group,undergraduate+international student group(hereinafter referred to as the group),and international student group.The undergraduate group adopts traditional bilingual teaching method+problem-based learning(PBL)+experimental operations.The Hetang group adopts bilingual teaching,PBL teaching method with joint participation of Chinese and foreign students,and experimental operations with joint participation of Chinese and foreign students.The theoretical and experimental courses of the international student group are both taught in traditional English.Statistical analysis was conducted on the scores of the pathology and physiology semester end exams,the number of English proficiency tests(CET-4 and CET-6),and the number of admitted master's students.Results The undergraduate students in the Hetang group achieved higher scores in the pathology and physiology theory and experimental operation exams,the number of English proficiency tests(CET-4 and CET-6)that were traced to graduation,and the number of master's degree admissions in the year of graduation compared to the undergraduate group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The academic and experimental performance scores of the international students in the Hetang group were also significantly higher than those of the international student group in the year of the end of the course,with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion The teaching method for Chinese and international students studying together could not only improve the teaching effect of pathophysiology,but also improve the English application ability of undergraduates,enhance the teamwork ability of Chinese and international students,and lay a solid foundation for its clinical and internationalization.
