社会学在欧洲的诞生和发展以及中国社会学的起源和建设都表明,社会学学科的开创和发展与时代变迁和社会转型紧密相联;社会巨变往往也是孕育社会思潮和社会理论的机会。综观中国社会学学科的发展历程,20世纪之交的旧制度解体与国族救亡开启了学科的发端,介绍引进了社会学理论与方法,并将其应用于社会改造与国家发展的道路探索之中;改革开放40多年来的社会学学科重建,学习和借鉴了当前发达社会的研究成果与研究方法,建立了比较完善的学科体制,积累了大量研究成果与经验材料,也培养了大量研究人才。如今,数字时代的百年未有之大变局,为中国社会学带来了学科发展的历史机遇,社会学学人应当发挥时代想象力,植根于中国大地,由学习和借鉴转变为引领与创造,积极参与学术规则的制定与社会实践的建构,建立起富有中国特色的社会学理论知识体系。

According to the birth and development of sociology in Europe and the construction of sociology in China,the origin and development of sociology discipline are closely related to the crucial changes of the times,especially social transformation.Great social changes nurture social trends and social theories.In an overview of the development of sociology in China,this discipline began at the time when the old imperial system collapsed and the national liberation movement thrived;sociological theories and methods were introduced to the intellectual world,and then applied to the exploration of community reconstruction and national development.Over the past 40 years,sociology as a discipline has been revived in China.The predecessors including Fei Xiao-tong have striven to establish a complete discipline system and accumulate a large number of theoretical and empirical materials.Afterwards,many younger research talents have taken the baton.Nowadays,the unprecedented changes in the digital area have brought historical opportunities for the further development.Sociologists should give full play to the imagination of the times,look carefully into the changing reality,actively participate in the formulation of academic rules,and eventually establish a sociological knowledge system with Chinese characteristics.
