Regarding the consensus of student-centered education,the“Anti-homework Movement”in American primary and secondary schools is a practical representation of the“student-centered theory”in American education circles,which reflects the current“student-based”value orientation of the development of American primary and secondary education.School districts and schools have effectively regulated teachers’homework assignment by formulating homework reduction policies,strengthening school education and teaching management,and highlighting social practice activities,thus reducing students’academic pressure and homework burden.
