Research Progress of Porcine Circovirus 4

猪圆环病毒4型(PCV4)是新发现的圆环病毒科圆环病毒属的成员。自2019年首次在家猪身上发现后,国内外开始陆续报道其研究成果。目前,该病毒已在我国和韩国多省的猪群中传播,欧洲、美洲尚无PCV4阳性病例报道。临床上与PCV3相似,PCV4也与母猪繁殖障碍、猪皮炎和肾病综合征(PDNS)、腹泻、呼吸和神经系统病症等存在潜在关联,可能给养猪业带来严重的危害,因此广大研究学者应引起重视。本文就PCV4的生物学特征、基因组结构和蛋白功能、遗传变异特征和流行病学特征等进行了综述,以期为后续研究提供参考。

Porcine circovirus 4(PCV4)is a newly identified member that belongs to the genus Circovirus in the family Circoviridae.Since PCV4 was first found in 2019 in domestic pigs,its research results have been reported one after another at home and abroad.At present,CV4 has spread in pigs in many provinces of China and South Korea while no PCV4 positive cases have been reported in Europe and America.Similar to PCV3 in clinical features,PCV4 is also potentially associated with sow reproductive failure,porcine dermatitis and nephropathy syndrome(PDNS),diarrhea,respiratory and nervous system diseases,which may bring serious harm to the pig industry.In this paper,the biological characteristics,genomic structure and protein function,genetic variation and epidemiological characteristics of PCV4 were reviewed in order to provide a good reference for future research.
