Objective To explore the predictive effect of driving attitude and aggressive tendency on driver accident proneness, and to construct a predictive model of driver accident propensity. Methods 54 drivers in Dalian were selected as the research objects. The participants answered the Driver Safety Attitude Scale, the Driver Aggressive Behavior Questionnaire, completed the implicit association test of aggression, and reported the number of driving accidents they experienced,Process software was used to analyze the mediation effect. Results The two variables of implicit attack and explicit attack can predict the accident tendency of drivers together.Entertainment seeking attitude positively predicted verbal aggression(β=0.452,t=3.432,P<0.01)and driving accident(β=0.346,t=2.663,P<0.05).The mediating model showed that verbal aggression played a completely mediating role in the relationship between entertainment seeking attitude and driving accidents(β=0.305,t=2.193,P<0.05).Conclusion Implicit aggression test combined with explicit aggression test can increase the predictive interpretation rate of driving accidents. The passion driving attitude of drivers affects the accident rate of drivers through the mediating effect of verbal aggression.
