摘要
中国家庭竞争性地参与到校外补习、兴趣班、特长班、夏令营等结构化校外活动,成为扩大教育结果不均等、增加家长焦虑的来源。文章以中国教育追踪调查(CEPS)基线调查数据为例,分析了家庭社会经济地位对青少年校外活动安排特别是结构化校外活动参与的影响。研究表明,青少年校外时间安排的阶层差异明显。具体而言,高社会经济地位的家庭更倾向于对青少年的校外时间进行精心策划和安排,参加各类结构化校外活动的比率更高,每周用于校外作业、参加辅导班的时间也更长,用于结构化校外活动的经济投入也更多。相反,较低社会经济地位的家庭对青少年的校外时间更缺乏规划,在结构化校外活动的参与广度、参与强度和资金投入度上均处于劣势,用于非结构化校外活动的时间则较多。
The families competent participation in structured extra-curricular activities such as after-school tutoring,interest classes,specialty classes and summer camps,and it is a main source of widening inequality in educational outcomes and increasing parents'anxiety in China.Based on the baseline survey data of China Education Panel Survey(CEPS),this paper analyzes the impact of family socio-economic status on the arrangement of off-school activities for adolescents,especially the participation in organized off-campus activities.The findings show that teenagers'off-campus schedules differ along with the soical class differentiation.Families with high socio-economic status arrange their teenagers'off-campus with more time,more investment and more carefully planning in various kinds of structured extracurricular activities,spend more time each week on off-campus tutoring and counseling classes.On the contrary,families with lower socio-economic status have less planning for teenagers'off-campus time with obvious disadvantage in the range,intensity and financial input of structured off-campus activities while spending more time on non-structured activities.
