On Zheng Guanyin's Thoughts of Overseas Study

本文从郑观应留学观的形成过程、心理变化、主要内容及影响三个方面进行了阐述。郑观应从科举失败后投身实业报国,其留学观可分为早、中、后三期,心理变化也经历了由夷学到西学再到新学的过程,并以郑观应选什么人、为什么学、去哪学、学什么、毕业后回国干什么为线索展开论述。

This paper elaborates on three aspects:the formation process,psychological changes,main contents and influence of Zheng Guanying's view of studying abroad.Zheng Guanying's view of studying abroad can be divided into early,middle and late stages after he failed in the imperial examinations,and his psychological changes also went through the process of learning from barbaric studies,western studies to new studies.The discussion in this paper is based on Zheng Guanying's clues about who to choose,why,where and what he studied,and what to do returned to China after graduation.
