Reflection on Promoting the Implementation of CITES in the NewEra and New Journey

为适应新时代新征程CITES履约形势和要求,有效推动野生动植物保护,通过分析CITES履约面临的国际国内形势,研究当前履约工作存在的主要问题,运用马克思主义基本原理、习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想的世界观和方法论,从统筹考虑国际国内两个大局、处理野生动植物保护和利用之间的关系、坚持问题导向、坚持系统观念、坚持底线思维、践行大国外交理念等方面提出建议,高质量推进CITES履约工作。

To adapt to the compliance situation and requirements of CITES in the new era and new journey,and effectively promote wildlife conservation,the main problems in current CITES implementation are discussed and the international and domestic situation analyzed in this paper.And with the aid of basic tenets of Marxism and the worldview and methodology of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era,the suggestions are put forward to promote CITES implementation with high quality such as taking into ac-count both the international and domestic situations,handling the relationship between wildlife protection and u-tilization,adhering to a problem-oriented approach,a systematic view,a bottom-line thinking,and practicing the concept of major-country diplomacy.
