Prof.Yeh Chiaying has devoted all her life to the study of Chinese classical poetry and made remarkable achievements.The most precious aspect of her Ci thought is thoroughly understand the heart of ancient and modern Ci writers and regard sincerity as the essence of her inspiring and moving theory.In addition,she has her own thought on the aesthetic characteristics of Ci,the development and evolution of Ci,interpreting Chinese traditional Ci with western literary theory,etc.In terms of creation,the sincere Jialing Ci is a model of female Ci which is both rich in moving vitality and the beauty of passive virtue that she admires most.It is of great benefit to the construction of contemporary Ci to explore the artistic conception of Ci developed by Prof.Yeh Chiaying deeply.
