批判性思维视域下英语报刊阅读教学策略

The Teaching Strategies of English Newspapers Reading Based on Cultivat⁃ing Students’Critical Thinking

很多教师的报刊阅读课在教学目标、教学内容、教学过程、教学方法以及教学评价等方面都缺乏批判性思维培养的元素,对学生进行批判性思维的培养面临着很多问题。对此,英语报刊阅读教学可以实施以下策略:明确培养学生批判性思维的教学目标;整合并拓展报刊中思辨性强的教学内容;设计思辨性强的核心问题;实施灵活的教学方法;开展多种教学评价。

There exist many problems in the cultivation of students’critical thinking due to a lack of the necessary elements for such cultivation in the teaching objectives,content,process,methods and evaluations in many teachers’newspaper reading classes.From teaching English reading,this study has found that the cultivation of students’critical thinking can be achieved through the implementation of the following strategies:clarifying the teaching objectives for the cultivation of students’critical thinking;integrating and expanding the speculative teaching content in English newspapers;designing important speculative questions;implementing flexible teaching methods;and using a variety of teaching evaluations.
