The inscriptions on bronze wares of the Western Zhou Dynasty are remnants of the ritual and music system.As the birthplace of Zhou culture and the hometown of bronze wares in China,Baoji has unearthed numerous bronze wares,and the inscriptions on them reflect historical facts such as sacrifices,rewards,appointments,oath of alliances,wars and contracts during the Western Zhou period.Comparing it with Shangshu,we can confirm the practical application of Shangshu style works such as Gao,Shi,Ming,Dian,etc.in the Western Zhou Dynasty,as well as the authenticity of the literature language related to the Western Zhou Dynasty in Shangshu.The unique and distinct literary characteristics presented by the Western Zhou bronze inscriptions unearthed in Baoji,as well as the artistic spirit of the unity of stylistic beauty,ethical beauty,and practical beauty,together laid the foundation for the realism gene of Chinese literature.
