Based on the recognition of the main trends and development prospects of the modern world,the reality of the changing geopolitical environment,and the need to form a consensus at home and make a clear policy expression abroad,Russia has recently revised the Foreign Policy Vision of the Russian Federation.Its core content mainly covers two levels:at the global level,it clarifes Russia’s position on world order,rule of law and international security,emphasizes the priority of safeguarding its international interests in various fields,and advocates the promotion of international cooperation around human security and development;and at the regional level,it adjusts the regional priorities in Russia’s foreign policy.The policy trends and the basic perception of the outside world,especially the Western countries in the new policy vision have shown some new characteristics,according to which Russia tries to highlight the continuity and practicality of its foreign policy.In view of the complex trends in the current international situation,this revision of the Foreign Policy Vision of the Russian Federation has important potential implications.
