The original intention of new energy vehicles is to solve energy problems and reduce emission pollution.At present,lithium batteries,which are the mainstream power batteries of new energy vehicles,have brought pollution and harm to the environment in the mining,production and dismantling of raw materials.This paper specifi cally analyzes the environmental pollution and harm caused by the use of lithium batteries,and summarizes how to prevent and control environmental pollution and hazards.To sum up,it is necessary to fully manage and control pollution sources,actively invest in science and technology and innovation,and explore new models of energy conversion,so that the future of new energy vehicles can go farther and farther.
