This paper discusses how colleges and universities may better implement the goal of service education in reading promotion.Through combing reading therapy research progress at home and abroad and its application in promoting the mental health of college students,this paper discusses and summarizes the ideas and practices of university libraries in the process of serving and education,integrating reading promotion with education,innovating the working mechanism,integrating with mental health education,and carrying out reading promotion services at different levels and by categories.
