摘要
以英语阅读为切入点,以实证的方式研究短期单独的词块培训及背景知识和词块的同时培训对学生英语阅读能力的影响。研究结果表明,词块、背景知识和阅读这三个测试项成绩两两对比的相关系数均呈显著正相关。t检验结果表明两种培训方式都能有效提高学生的词块使用意识和阅读能力,但与单独的词块培训相比,词块和背景知识的同时培训更能有效提高学生背景知识提取和激活意识,从而有效提高学生的阅读能力。
This paper systematically reviews the researches on background knowledge and lexical chunks.Targeted on the reading performance,the paper empirically goes deep into the effect of the short-term training on lexical chunks upon reading and the combined effect of the simultaneous training on lexical chunks and background knowledge upon reading.The result shows that lexical chunks,background knowledge and reading achievement are positively correlated.According to the results of t-test,the two different instructions both serve to enhance students’awareness of using lexical chunks and their reading capacity.However,in contrast to the pure training on lexical chunks,the simultaneous training on lexical chunks and background knowledge combined can effectively strengthen students’awareness of extracting and activating background knowledge,thus helping to improve students’reading capacity.
