摘要
为解决M.2 KEYB接口兼容性、减少板内空间的问题,根据M.2 KEYB的规范,分析每个PIN定义的信号特性,使USB3.0信号和SATA信号互不干涉,对USB3.0模块和SATA模块与M.2 KEYB接口的兼容性开展设计。检测M.2 KEYB接口接入模块类型,根据检测模块的类型切换接口的工作电压。利用基本输入输出系统配置一个GPIO信号控制M.2 KEYB接口的供电电压,当接入USB3.0模块时,设计GPIO为高电平,供电电压为3.3 V;当接入SATA模块时,设计GPIO为低电平,供电电压为3.6 V。采用5G模块试验对USB3.0模块进行论证,SATA模块用固态硬盘进行验证。结果表明:所提出的M.2 KEYB接口设计方法,能够很好地兼容USB3.0模块和SATA模块。
In order to solve the compatibility issue of M.2KEYB interface and reduce board space,according to the specifications of M.2KEYB,the signal characteristics defined by each PIN are analyzed to ensure that the USB3.0 signal and SATA signal do not interfere with each other.The compatibilities of the USB3.0 module and SATA module with the M.2KEYB interface are designed.The type of M.2KEYB interface access module is detected,and the working voltage of the interface is switched based on the type of detection module.Basic input output system is used to configure a GPIO signal to control the power supply voltage of the M.2KEYB interface,when connecting to the USB3.0 module,the GPIO is designed to be high level and the power supply voltage to be 3.3 V;when connecting to the SATA module,the GPIO is designed to be low level and the power supply voltage to be 3.6 V.The USB3.0 module is tested and demonstrated by using 5G modules,while the SATA module is validated by using solid state disk.The results show that by using the proposed M.2KEY B interface design method,both USB3.0 and SATA modules can be well compatibled.
