The cement and building materials industry is an important industry in the national economy and plays a crucial role in the industrialization process.At present,the concentration of the cement and building materials industry is low,the overall scale is large,energy consumption is high,and pollutant emissions are amplified.Its environmental protection issues have become the most urgent problem faced by the cement industry.Against the backdrop of the wave of mergers and acquisitions,cement companies can absorb other companies'green technologies through green mergers and acquisitions,expand their green competitive advantages,achieve energy conservation and emission reduction,and ultimately achieve green development of the enterprise.This paper selects the case of Jidong Cement M&A of mangrove environmental protection,analyzes the impact of M&A events on corporate financial performance,discusses the motivation and ways of Jidong Cement M&A of mangrove environmental protection,and draws conclusions and enlightenment.
