Study on the Impact of Digital Economy on Urban-Rural Income Gap from the Perspective of Common Prosperity

为研究数字经济发展水平对城乡收入差距的影响,选取2007-2021年省级面板数据,并使用熵值法计算生机数字经济发展水平进行实证分析。研究发现,数字经济发展水平对城乡收入差距有显著的负面影响,即数字经济发展水平对城乡收入差距有显著的抑制作用。在探究影响效果的分区域的异质性分析中,东、中、西三个地区的数字经济发展水平对城乡收入差距抑制作用明显,其中东部地区的数字经济对城乡收入差距抑制效果较小,中部地区数字经济对城乡收入差距抑制效果最大,西部地区的抑制效果位于二者之间,这主要是由于东部地区数字经济发展起步早、城乡收入差距小、数字经济发展空间小于其他地区;中部地区数字经济发展有强大的后发优势;以及西部地区缺乏大中型城市,数字经济发展处于起步阶段,在缩小城乡收入差距上效果有限。

In order to study the impact of the development level of digital economy on the income gap between urban and rural areas,provincial panel data from 2007 to 2021 were selected,and entropy method was used to calculate the development level of dynamic digital economy for empirical analysis.It is found that the development level of digital economy has a significant negative impact on the urban-rural income gap,that is,the development level of digital economy has a significant inhibitory effect on the urban-rural income gap.In the analysis of regional heterogeneity,the development level of digital economy in the east,central and west regions have an obvious inhibitory effect on urban-rural income gap.The inhibitory effect of digital economy on urban-rural income gap in the eastern region is small,the inhibitory effect of digital economy on urban-rural income gap in the central region is the largest,and the inhibitory effect of digital economy on urban-rural income gap in the western region is between the two.This is mainly due to the early start of the digital economy in the eastern region,the small urban-rural income gap and the smaller development space of the digital economy than in other regions.The development of digital economy in the central region has a strong late advantage;In addition,the western region lacks large and medium-sized cities,and the development of digital economy is in its infancy,which has limited effect on narrowing the income gap between urban and rural areas.
