Chinese Modernization and Digital China

中国式现代化既具有现代化的内涵,又蕴含着中国特色。中国在积极探索和追求现代化的过程中取得了举世瞩目的成就,也面临着一些挑战,需要构建新发展格局,推动高质量发展。在数字经济时代,中国式现代化具有数字经济的内涵和意义。数字经济是继农业经济、工业经济之后的新生产方式,形成了新的生产、交换、流通、分配和消费的经济运行全过程。数字技术和数字要素贯穿现代经济发展全过程,中国式现代化要在数字中国乃至数字强国的基础之上构建。建设数字中国需要扩大全社会数字经济建设投入、进一步推进数字产业化和产业数字化发展、完善数字治理体系以及提升全民数字素养与技能,在数字中国基础之上实现中国式现代化建设。

Chinese modernization has both the implication of modernization and Chinese characteristics.In the process of actively exploring and pursuing modernization,China has made remarkable achievements,yet faces some challenges.We need to build a new pattern of development and promote high-quality development.In the era of the digital economy,there is a new mode of production after agricultural economy and industrial economy,and this forms a new whole process of economic operation,including production,exchange,distribution,and consumption for Chinese modernization.Digital technology and digital factors appear in the whole process of modern economic development,and Chinese modernization is based on the conception of a digital China.Finally,the construction of a digital China needs to expand the investment in the construction of digital economy in the whole society,further promote the development of digital industrialization and industrial digitalization,improve the digital governance system and enhance the digital literacy and skills of the whole people,in order to realize China’s modernization on the basis of a digital China.
