Richard Ⅲ was written in the height of English educational changes, and its lines and role setting were directly related with early modern English discussions of education.Shakespeare took two little princes who were"so wise,so young, never lives long"as a clue,to reveal the shortcomings exposed in the process of educational systematization of Western early modern countries;also he used a page who is full of worldly wisdom but lacking moral values to show the advantages and disadvantages of the experimental education. With references to the early modern English educators and educational practices, this paper interprets the English secular education ideas in the play and Shakespeare's reflection on the changes in education.
