The Time Features and Synchronic Discrepancies of Chinese Serial Verb Sentences in Northern Wei Dynasty

文章选取了北魏汉语代表性文献中的连动句,分别从其中联结词、动词、句式组合、音节搭配等方面分析其使用状况,并与上古汉语和近代汉语中连动句进行比较,认为北魏汉语连动句体现出中古汉语的特征,如不使用联结词语的连动句逐渐占有优势,连动句的动词语义类型符合南北朝时期特点。北魏汉语连动句随着语料文体和作者生活地域的不同显示出一定的共时差异,特别是宗教文献的特点比较明显。

This article selects serial verb sentences in the Chinese representative literatures of the Northern Wei Dynasty,analyzing their usage from the aspects of connectives,verbs,sentence combinations,and syllable collocations,along with comparison between the serial verb sentences in ancient Chinese and modern Chinese.The Chinese serial verb sentences in the Northern Wei Dynasty reflect the characteristics of medieval Chinese.For example,serial verb sentences without connectives gradually dominate,and the verb meaning types of the serial verb sentences conform to the characteristics of the Northern and Southern Dynasties.Serial verb sentences in Northern Wei Dynasty show certain synchronic discrepancies according to the differences of corpus style and the living regions of the authors,which is particularly prominent in religious literature.
