Lumbar disc herniation is a common clinical disease.There are various methods of traditional Chinese medicine to treat lumbar disc herniation.This article summarizes the clinical medication of acupoint injections in treatment of lumbar disc herniation,including the types of medication,frequency of medication,and acupuncture point selection.The injections for lumbar disc herniation treated by acupoint injection mainly include four categories:local anesthetics,nerve-nourishing drugs,hormonal drugs,and herbal injections.Acupoints selected are mainly the bladder meridian,governor meridian,and bile meridian.This article finds a rich and diverse selection of drugs for acupoint injections in treatment of lumbar disc herniation,with outstanding efficacy and few adverse reactions.
