大学生外表完美主义与社交焦虑的关系:面子意识和负面评价恐惧的链式中介作用

Relationship between physical appearance perfectionism and social anxiety in collegestudents:The chain mediating role of face consciousness and fear of negative evaluation

目的:探讨大学生外表完美主义、面子意识、负面评价恐惧与社交焦虑的关系及作用机制。方法:采用外表完美主义量表、面子意识量表、负面评价恐惧量表以及社交焦虑量表对402名大学生进行问卷调查。结果:外表完美主义、面子意识、负面评价恐惧、社交焦虑两两之间均呈显著正相关(r=0.368~0.576,P<0.01)。面子意识和负面评价恐惧在大学生外表完美主义与社交焦虑之间分别起单独的中介作用,中介效应占比分别为16.42%和13.06%。面子意识和负面评价恐惧在大学生外表完美主义与社交焦虑之间起链式中介作用,链式中介效应占比为3.73%。结论:大学生外表完美主义既能直接影响社交焦虑,也能通过面子意识和负面评价恐惧影响社交焦虑。

Objective:To investigate the relationship between appearance perfectionism,face consciousness,fear of negative evaluation and social anxiety among college students and their mechanisms of action.Methods:A questionnaire survey was conducted on 402 university students using the Appearance Perfectionism Scale,Face Awareness Scale,Fear of Negative Evaluation Scale and Social Anxiety Scale.Results:There was a significantly positive correlation between appearance perfectionism,face consciousness,fear of negative evaluation and social anxiety(r between 0.368 and 0.576,P<0.01).Face consciousness and fear of negative evaluation played separate mediating roles between appearance perfectionism and social anxiety in university students,with mediating effects of 16.42%and 13.06%,respectively.Face consciousness and fear of negative evaluations mediated the chain effect between appearance perfectionism and social anxiety in college students,with a chain mediation effect of 3.73%.Conclusion:College students'appearance perfectionism can affect social anxiety both directly and through face consciousness and fear of negative evaluation.
