摘要
对通用视频编码(VVC)中扩大帧内块拷贝(IBC)参考区域所带来编码时间的增加进行研究,提出了一种自适应的IBC参考区域选择算法。算法引入特征交叉思想,利用改进的自适应因式分解网络,构造分辨能力更强的特征,判断当前编码单元的编码模式。对选择IBC模式的编码单元,利用感知哈希算子对其所处的32×32区域与原始参考范围外的32×32区域进行相似性检测,根据相似度判断是否扩展IBC的参考范围。实验结果表明:在全帧内配置下,与扩大了IBC参考区域的VTM10.0相比,所提算法平均节省11%的编码时间,BD-rate上升约0.8%。
An adaptive IBC(Intra Block Copy)reference region selection algorithm is proposed by studying the increase of encoding time caused by expanding the reference region of IBC in Versatile Video Coding(VVC).The algorithm introduces the idea of feature crossing,uses the improved adaptive factorization network to construct features with stronger resolution,and judges the coding mode of the current coding unit.For the encoding unit that selects the IBC mode,the perceptual hash operator is used to detect the similarity between the 32×32 regions it is located in and the 32×32 regions outside the original reference range,and determines whether to expand the reference range of IBC based on similarity degree.The experimental results show that under full frame configuration,the proposed algorithm saves 11%encoding time on average and increases BD-rate by about 0.8%compared to VTM10.0,which expands the IBC reference region.
