Exploration of The Evolution of Narrow Waist Table

我国传统家具几的形态源于“俎”,俎形家具在发展演变中细分出几形家具,凭几就是几形家具的一个分支。凭几是中国古代上层社会阶层使用的家具,在不同朝代的文学、美术作品、壁画艺术中都有记载。本文将通过不同历史阶段关于凭几的文献和文物,纵向展开系统性的梳理比对,借用案例引证,深入解读其不同历史阶段的特征,归纳总结出凭几5个重要演变阶段。凭几演变历程的研究,有利于解读中华民族传统起居文化中尊礼尚德的思想,也可为中国家具发展史的完善做一点有益补充。

The form of traditional Chinese furniture is derived from the Zu,and later on the gradual development and evolution of the Zu furniture,subdivided into several shapes of furniture,with a few furniture was a branch of narrow waist table shapes.The narrow waist table was a furniture used by the upper class in ancient China,which has been recorded in literature,art works and mural art of different dynasties.In this paper,the documents and artifacts on the narrow waist table in different historical stages were systematically compared and contrasted,case examples to explain the characteristics of the different historical stages were drew on,and the five important stages of their evolution were summarized.The research of the evolutionary history of narrow waist table but was also beneficial for the promotion of the Chinese traditional living culture respect for ritual and virtue,but also for the development of the history of Chinese furniture to do a little useful supplement.
