Improvement Strategies of College English Teachers' Professional Development in Local Universities under the Background of New Liberal Arts Construction

摘要 新文科建设的国际化复合型人才培养目标给外语教师带来了新挑战,提出了新要求。文章在剖析大学英语教师专业发展现状与新文科建设要求差距的基础上,提出地方本科院校要关注大学英语教师专业发展的实际需求,构建完善的继续教育模式,提供有效的教师合作平台,建立科学的多元评价体系,推动大学英语教师发挥职业韧性,促进大学英语教师育人素养、学科素养、教学素养、科研素养和信息素养的全面提升。 The goal of cultivating international and compound talents in the new liberal arts construction has brought new challenges and requirements to foreign language teachers.Based on the analysis of the gap between the current situation of college English teachers' professional development and the requirements of the new liberal arts construction,it is proposed that local universities should pay attention to the actual needs of college English teachers' professional development,build a perfect further education model,provide an effective platform for teachers' cooperation,establish a scientific and multiple evaluation system and improve college English teachers' career resilience to promote a comprehensive enhancement of college English teachers' competency in education,discipline,teaching,scientific research and information literacy.
