主动性社交网络使用与大学生孤独感的关系:未满足归属需要的中介作用

Relationship between active social network site use and loneliness in college students:a mediating role of unmet need for belonging

目的探讨主动性社交网络使用对孤独感的影响及未满足归属需要的中介作用。方法采用主动性社交网络使用量表、孤独感量表、归属需要强度量表以及一项人际关系满意度题项(未满足归属需要以归属需要强度与人际关系满意度之间的差异水平表示)对308名有社交网络使用经验的大学生进行施测。结果主动性社交网络使用与孤独感和未满足归属需要呈显著负相关(r=-0.14,P<0.05;r=-0.16,P<0.01);未满足归属需要与孤独感呈显著正相关(r=0.32,P<0.001);未满足归属需要在主动性社交网络使用对孤独感的影响中起完全中介作用。结论主动性社交网络使用通过降低未满足归属需要水平进而减少大学生的孤独感。

Objective To explore the effects of active social network site use on loneliness,and investigate the mediating role of unmet need for belonging.Methods A total of 308 undergraduate students with experience in using social network site were recruited in the study to complete active social network use scale,loneliness scale,attribution need intensity scale,and an item of interpersonal relationship satisfaction(discrepancy between need to belong and satisfaction with interpersonal relationships,which was used to measure unmet need for belonging).Results Correlation analysis showed that active social network site use was significantly negatively correlated with loneliness(r=-0.14,P<0.05)and unmet need for belonging(r=-0.16,P<0.01).Unmet need for belonging was significantly positively correlated with loneliness(r=0.32,P<0.001).Unmet need for belonging completely mediated the relationship between active network site use and loneliness.Conclusion Active social network site use reduces the loneliness of college students by reducing unmet need for belonging.
