Traffic issues have become one of the main challenges in the current process of urban social development,and further reforms are needed in transportation engineering to achieve comprehensive intelligent traffic control.Therefore,the article explores the application of intelligent traffic control systems in traffic engineering.The article constructs the overall design concept of the system and designs the system hardware.The system includes the required supporting devices,achieving real-time traffic monitoring and control functions,as well as data collection and transmission functions.Research has shown that intelligent transportation systems can effectively alleviate traffic and contribute to the further development of urban transportation.
