数字经济对区域制造业高质量发展的赋能作用与门槛效应

Enabling and Threshold Effect of Digital Economy on High-Quality Development of Regional Manufacturing Industry

深入分析数字经济赋能区域制造业高质量发展的内在机理,科学构建数字经济和制造业高质量发展的评价体系,选取湖南省地级市层面2011—2020年的面板数据,运用熵值法对数字经济和区域制造业高质量发展水平进行测算,通过系统GMM方法和中介效应模型对相关理论假设进行实证检验.研究发现,数字经济对区域制造业高质量发展存在明显正向作用,可通过提升资源配置效率、增强制造企业创新驱动能力、促进制造业可持续性发展等中介机制助推区域制造业高质量发展,但是受到企业资本存量与技术水平的限制,数字经济对制造业的赋能存在门槛效应.建议地方政府夯实数字基础设施建设并持续推进制造业“两化融合”,努力营造良好的制造业产业生态,大力促进制造业绿色低碳发展;制造企业则应不断增强数字技术应用,努力提升开放合作水平.

This paper deeply analyzes the internal mechanism of high-quality development of regional manufacturing industry empowered by digital economy,scientifically constructs the evaluation system of high-quality development of digital economy and manufacturing industry,selects the panel data of prefecture-level cities in Hunan from 2011 to 2020,uses entropy method to measure the high-quality development level of digital economy and regional manufacturing industry,and then empirically tests the relevant theoretical hypotheses through systematic GMM method and intermediary effect model.It is found that digital economy has an obvious positive effect on the high-quality development of regional manufacturing industry.Digital economy will promote the high-quality development of regional manufacturing industry through intermediary mechanisms such as improving the efficiency of resource allocation,enhancing the innovation driving ability of manufacturing enterprises,and promoting the sustainable development of manufacturing industry.However,due to the limitation of enterprise capital stock and technological level,there is a threshold effect on the empowerment of manufacturing industry by digital economy.It is suggested that the local government should consolidate the digital infrastructure and continue to promote the“two-oriented integration”of the manufacturing industry,strive to create a good manufacturing industry ecology,and vigorously promote the green and low-carbon development of the manufacturing industry.Manufacturing enterprises should constantly enhance the application of digital technology and enhance the level of opening up and cooperation.
