新文科背景下我国外语学科博士研究生科研能力实证研究 被引量:1

An empirical study on the research competence of Chinese doctoral students in foreign languages under the background of new liberal arts

摘要 文章基于对我国11所高校310名外语学科博士研究生的问卷调查,从科研能力结构、科研能力与科研产出的关系、背景变量对科研能力的影响三个方面研究新文科背景下外语学科博士生科研能力现状。结果显示:1)我国外语学科博士生的科研能力处于中等偏上水平,其各维度平均分从高到低依次为:理论应用与实践能力、问题意识与批判能力、文献搜集与处理能力、逻辑思维能力和学术语言表达能力;2)科研能力及其各维度与科研产出均呈显著正相关,逻辑思维能力和学术语言表达能力对科研产出具有显著的正向预测作用;3)外语学科博士生的科研能力由于社会、家庭角色等因素存在性别差异,跨专业考入的外语学科博士生的问题意识与批判能力要显著低于本专业考入的博士生,外语学科博士生的科研能力受到导师指导时间的显著影响。研究认为,提升外语学科博士研究生科研能力应从学术写作课程、逻辑思维训练、导师指导制度、交叉学科知识传授等方面予以规范和加强。 Based on a questionnaire survey of 310 doctoral students in foreign languages in 11 universities in China,this paper explores foreign language doctoral students’research competence under the background of new liberal arts from three aspects:the structure of research competence,the relationship between research competence and research output,and the influences of background variables on research competence.The major findings are as follows:1)the overall research competence of doctoral students in foreign languages is at upper middle level;The average scores of five dimensions of the research competence from high to low are:theoretical application and practical ability,problem consciousness and critical ability,literature collection and processing ability,logical thinking ability and academic language expression ability;2)their research competence and its dimensions are positively correlated with their research output;their logical thinking ability and academic language expression ability have a significant positive predictive effect on their research output;and 3)there are gender differences in the research competence of doctoral students in foreign languages due to factors such as social and family roles;the research competence of foreign language doctoral students who are cross-disciplinary is significantly lower than that of non-cross-disciplinary doctoral students;the research competence of doctoral students in foreign languages is significantly affected by their tutors’weekly guidance time.Academic writing training,logical thinking training,tutor guidance system and interdisciplinary knowledge teaching should be strengthened to improve the research competence of doctoral students in foreign languages.
