Objective To investigate effect of Xilei powder on dressing change after mixed hemorrhoid surgery. Methods The paper chose 80 patients with mixed hemorrhoids with external dissection and internal ligation surgery in our hospital from March to December 2019,and divided them into control group and treatment group randomly, with 40 cases in each group.Control group was treated wtih routine dressing changes, while treatment group wtih tin powder spray dressing changes.Pain level, edema level, wound exudation scores and final healing time were compared between two groups 24 hours,3 days and 7 days after surgery. Results There was no significant difference in final cure rate and improvement rate between two groups, with no statistical significance(P>0.05).24 days after surgery, there was no significant difference in pain scores, wound edema scores and wound exudation scores between two groups, with no statistical significance(P>0.05).However,on the 3rd and 7th postoperative days, pain scores, wound edema scores and wound exudation scores of treatment group were significantly lower than control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion Xilei powder can reduce pain, shorten postoperative healing cycle in dressing change after mixed hemorrhoid surgery, which is easy to operate, and is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
