Mergers and Alliances of Global Stock Exchanges in the Context of Global Urban Networks

证券交易所是全球城市重要的金融基础设施,其合并与联盟很大程度上影响着资本的全球流动格局,决定着全球城市的金融与资源配置地位,从而对城市网络体系产生积极效应。本研究拟在全球城市网络视角下,审视证券交易所的功能作用,重点从理论上探讨全球证券交易所合并与联盟的影响机理——进一步强化全球金融中心的枢纽链接、战略通道和平台经济载体等等功能。同时,着眼当前全球政治经济和科技创新发展新背景,聚焦全球金融中心建设进程中重要证券交易所合并与联盟发展新动向,以此观察全球资本市场发展的新趋势特点,研究提出深入推进全球资本市场开放合作、促进全球金融中心建设以及优化全球城市网络的应对之策。

Stock exchanges are crucial financial infrastructures in global cities,and their mergers and alliances have a significant impact on global capital flows,the financial and resource allocation status of global cities,and the urban network system.This study examines the functional role of stock exchanges in global urban networks,explores the influence of mergers and alliances of global stock exchanges,and emphasizes the need to strengthen the hub connection,strategic channel,and platform economic carrier functions of global financial centers.Further,the study observes new trends in the development of significant stock exchange mergers and alliances with regards to global political and economic developments and technological innovations.It also explores ways to promote open cooperation of global capital markets,facilitate the construction of global financial centers,and optimize the response strategies of global urban networks.
