副词性关联词语在四川省高中英语教材中的应用

摘要 本文以四川省高中英语教材必修一为语料,探讨了副词性关联词语(以下简称“副关”)的出现频率、语义类别和功能类型,并提出了相应教学建议。旨在发现高中英语教材中副关的应用特点,以期提高师生对这类词语的关注度,促进英语教学质量的提高。研究发现:副关在教材中出现频率高、分布广泛,且涉及表加合、时顺、转折、解释、结果、推论和断言七个功能类型;就分布模块而言,副关主要出现于阅读、写作、听力和语法部分,口语部分未有涉及;对教师、学生和教材编写者提出了相应建议,认为教师应当做到:植入副关知识,实施语篇化教学;运用副关的阅读教学模式,提高阅读理解能力;强化副关写作意识,培养思维品质。 With the Compulsory 1 of the English textbook in Sichuan senior high school as a corpus,this study explores the frequency,semantic categories and functional types of adverbial conjunctions(abbreviated to“ACs”),and proposes teaching suggestions.The aims are to discover the characteristics of the use of ACs in high school English textbooks,to raise the attention of teachers and students to ACs and to promote the quality of English teaching.The study finds that:ACs appear frequently and are widely distributed in the textbook in Compulsory 1 and involve seven types of function:temporal sequential,explanative,adversative,inferential,assertive,resultative and additive;in terms of distribution of modules,ACs appear mainly in the reading,writing,listening and grammar sections,but not in the speaking section;suggestions are made for teachers,students and textbook compilers.Teachers should:embed knowledge of ACs into teaching and implement text-based teaching;use the ACs-based reading teaching model to improve reading comprehension skills;strengthen awareness of ACs in writing to develop quality of thinking.
