Some Thoughts on Modernization of Chinese Education

在百年未有之大变局下,以中国式教育现代化支撑中国式现代化建设尤具有重要性和紧迫性。从理论逻辑看,以人的全面发展为旨归是中国式现代化的内在要求和最终体现。马克思主义人的全面发展理论中国化、时代化成果的突出表现就是必须坚持以人民为中心,着力解决不平衡、不充分问题,尊重学习者个性化、多样化发展需求,实现优质教育的丰富性和教育选择的适切性。从历史逻辑看,培养德智体美劳全面发展的建设者和接班人,在中国共产党百年教育方针中始终一以贯之且与时俱进,即坚持鲜明的政治性、阶级性和革命性,为党育人,为国育才。从实践逻辑看,构建高质量中国式教育现代化体系必须回应国家重大战略需求和群众对美好教育的期盼,全面辩证地认识把握公平与效率关系,扎实推进“教育共富”和区域协调发展,以多样化高素质人力资源服务中国式现代化强国建设。

It is urgent to support Chinese modernization with Chinese education modernization in today’s increasingly complex and changeable international situation.Theoretically,the all⁃round development of human beings is the inherent requirement and ultimate manifestation of Chinese modernization.Putting people first,aiming at solving the problem of insufficiency and imbalance in education,we must respect learners’individual and diversified development needs,and provide appropriate educational choices and rich quality education.Historically,cultivating builders and successors with all⁃round development in morality,intelligence,physique,aesthetics and labor has always been the education policy of the Communist Party of China.In practice,to build a high⁃quality Chinese educational modernization system,we must respond to the country’s major strategic needs and the people’s expectations for a better education,dialectically understand the relationship between equity and efficiency,promote“education for common prosperity”and regional coordinated development,and serve the construction of a modern and powerful country with diversified and high⁃quality human resources.
