Comprehensive Measurement of China's Digital Infrastructure Construction Level

基于2008—2020年全国30个省份样本数据,测度数字基础设施建设水平及其空间差异来源与结构差异来源,并采用关系数据分析范式考察数字基础设施建设均衡化的形成机理。研究发现:全国整体及各区域数字基础设施建设水平呈明显上升态势,区域间存在较大差异,但呈均衡化趋势;数字基础设施建设非均衡化主要源于区域间差异;新型网络基础设施差异是引致数字基础设施建设非均衡化的主要因素;各维度差异的影响情形存在区域异质性,东部地区“新型应用基础设施差异—融合基础设施差异”问题最为突出,中部地区的新型行业基础设施差异贡献率最高,西部地区数字经济基础设施差异影响力度最强。

Based on sample data from 30 provinces in China from 2008 to 2020,this study measures the level of digital infrastructure construction and its sources of spatial and structural differences,and examines the formation mechanism of digital infrastructure construction equalization.Research has found that the overall level of digital infrastructure construction in the country and various regions is showing a significant upward trend,with significant differences between regions,but showing a balanced trend.The imbalance of digital infrastructure construction mainly stems from regional differences.The difference in new network infrastructure is the main factor leading to the imbalance of digital infrastructure construction.There is regional heterogeneity in the impact of differences in various dimensions,with the issue of“differences in new application infrastructure-differences in integrated infrastructure”being the most prominent in the eastern region,the contribution rate of differences in new industry infrastructure in the central region being the highest,and the impact of differences in digital economy infrastructure in the western region being the strongest.
