基于ELES模型的中部六省城镇居民消费结构分析

Analysis of the Consumption Structures of Urban Residents in Six Provinces in Central China Based on the ELES Model

中部地区作为连接东西、贯穿南北的交通要道,具有庞大的人口和自然资源,城镇居民消费结构差异较大。本文运用ELES模型分析中部六省城镇居民消费结构特征,结果显示:当收入增加时,中部六省城镇居民消费结构存在明显的升级现象,享受及发展型商品消费支出增长速度较快,交通通信和居住成为城镇居民的消费重点。基于以上结果,本文提出重视城镇居民收入的提高,发挥政府的引导职能,完善社会保障体系,合理优化消费结构等政策建议,以期为中部六省城镇居民消费结构的进一步升级提供发展方向。

As a major transportation route connecting east and west and running north and south,central China has a huge population and rich natural resources,and the consumption structures of urban residents vary greatly.This paper uses the ELES model to analyze the characteristics of the consumption structure of urban residents in the six provinces of central China.The results show that when income increases,there is an obvious upgrading in the consumption structure of urban residents in the six provinces of central China,with consumption expenditure on enjoyment and developmental goods growing at a faster rate,and transportation and communication and housing becoming the consumption priorities of urban residents.Based on the above results,it is proposed that China should pay attention to the improvement of urban residents’income,play the guiding function of the government,improve the social security system and reasonably optimize the consumption structures,etc.,to provide a development direction for the further upgrading of the consumption structures of urban residents in the six provinces of central China.
