Geological Characteristics and Prospecting Direction of Gold Deposits in Masonbiri Area,Northern Province of Sierra Leone

马松比(Masonbiri)金矿区位于西非克拉通西南缘苏拉山-坎尕瑞山绿岩带金铁多金属成矿带中段。本文从马松比金矿区矿体特征入手,总结矿体特征、矿石特征等,分析其控矿因素、成矿作用与演化,指出区内今后的找矿方向。

Masonbiri gold deposit area is located in the middle of the gold iron polymetallic metallogenic belt of Sula Mountain Kangarui Mountain greenstone belt in the southwest margin of the West African Craton.This article starts with the characteristics of the ore body in the Masongbi gold mine area,summarizes the characteristics of the ore body,ore characteristics,and analyzes its ore-controlling factors,mineralization,and evolution,and points out the future direction of ore exploration in the area.
